Bad sucking habits have bad consequences
Many still believe that their child's sucking habits could not harm their jaw and teeth development. The opposite is the case. Malposition are often the consequence to the sucking.
Pay attention to whether your child sucks unusually much. While that is not so bad in infancy, you should still watch your baby's sucking habits.
Try to get your baby used to sucking on a pacifier instead of their thumb as early as possible. From the age of three, sucking leads to jaw deformations. A conversation with your dentist may be help you.
